The title of my second work is ‘Vamsavriksham’. It unfolds the history of a family which is located in the village of Adichanalloor, some 10 kms east of Kollam. A family with great reputation, it is one of the leading families in Travancore. Spread over a large part of Kollam district, Palavila- that is the name of the family, is my maternal family. I have successfully traced ten generations of this family and bout 250 years of its history. The family is now a great banyan tree.
